If I am working for Phamico, where will I be working?
With Phamico, you have the choice to work at all kinds of facilities. Whether you feel at home at a community hospital, a teaching facility, a small rural hospital or a variety of other locations, we've got a place for you.


Why should I work with Phamico rather than a hospital?
When you work with Phamico, you never have to worry about anyone setting your schedule ever again. It's all up to you. What are the minimum requirements to work for Phamico?
To become an Phamico Per Diem nurse, you need to provide a valid professional practice license or certification and proof of the right to work in the United States. We require at least one year of professional nursing experience before we can hire you, but don't be discouraged - the jobs, not to mention the pay rates, improve dramatically with every year you work in the field!

Do I have to work with you once I have filled out an application?
Not at all. Your application is just a way for us to get to know you so if you decide you want to work with us, we can find you your dream job.

Is there a fee for me to work with Phamico?
Never! At Phamico, you are the star. We work hard to find you numerous job opportunities to choose from.

How long will it take to approve my application and find a Per Diem assignment?
Not long at all! The placement process goes quickly once you provide us with your application and credentials. So, as long as you work with us to get you working, you'll be joining the Phamico family soon!


What shifts are available?
Our shifts vary depending on what facility you choose to work with. We work with our facilities to ensure that you are not floating needlessly. The majority of our shifts are usually 8, 10, or 12 hours.

How will Phamico prepare me for my assignment?
Once you have found a shift or contract that appeals to you, your Phamico coordinator will confirm your start date, shift, unit, and salary. We will then give you an orientation that will familiarize you with the features and policies of your chosen facility.


What will my salary be?
At Phamico, we make sure that you earn what you are worth! We have some of the most competitive pay rates in the industry.


What do I get if I refer a colleague to Phamico?

What kinds of insurance do you offer?
We offer you many forms of insurance. From health, dental, life, and vision insurance to Workman's Comp, we make sure that we cover you from all angles.

When am I eligible to receive my benefits?
How does a month sound? That's right, with Phamico, you are eligible for such benefits as 401(k), Health, Dental, and Life Insurance as soon as you complete just one month of continuous employment (120 hours in one month).

Can I add my spouse and/or children to my insurance?
Sure! You can add your spouse or domestic partner, your children, or dependents to your insurance for an additional monthly premium. All you need to do in order to add your family to your insurance is complete the enrollment paperwork and pay the monthly premium.

Do you have a retirement plan?
Ah, retirement will be grand! You are eligible for our 401(k) program after just one month of working with us. We offer matching contributions of 50 cents on the dollar up to 7% and you are fully vested after 5 years!
